Exercise

A moderate aerobics program can lessen the frequency and intensity of the migraine when it occurs. However, continuous and strenuous exercise may in fact precipitate migraine headache. So you have to be very careful as to the type of exercises you choose.

Here is a suggested exercise to relieve your migraine:
bulletWalk and/or run for thirty minutes a day, three times a week. As your body readjusts over several months to the increase in oxygen, nutrients, and fitness level, you may experience a reduction in your migraines.
bulletPlay a game that you enjoy, such as tennis, basketball, volleyball, softball, or soccer.
bulletRide a bicycle five times per week.
