For:
Anti-inflammatory, antihypertensive, antibacterial, antifungal, vasodilator.
Nourishes the yin, relieves irritability and constipation. Chinese figwort is used when there are warm febrile diseases possibly associated with bleeding. It is especially helpful for swollen, inflamed lymph glands and severe sore throat. It is also useful for the treatment of cancers and tumors.

9-30 grams |
| Safety:
Scrophularia should not be used by those with spleen or stomach weakness or dampness, especially when there is diarrhea.
CAUTION: Scrophularia should not be used with Radix veratri.
