For:
Diaphoretic, diuretic, antimicrobial, stomachic, expectorant
Dissipates coldness, induces perspiration, dispels dampness, relieves abdominal bloating. Can be used when there is coldness or fullness in the stomach or chest area. Very effective in the initial stages of colds and influenza and for congestion of the lungs or sinuses.

| Dosage:
3-9 grams. It should be added near the end of making the decoction.

| Safety:
Scallion should not be used when spontaneous sweating is occurring.
